ISKCON Naperville had begun its site work with full force in mid-June 2018. We are pleased to inform you that 90% of this first phase of work will be completed by November 2018.

We have created 131 parking spaces by creative civil engineering work thereby meeting city requirements without going for variance. City water has been brought to ISKCON Naperville center and water connection has been made to the existing building. The old well is getting shut down by the county. New sewer system work has been successfully completed. Awaiting the upcoming Krishna temple, the new upgraded transformer work has been completed. The existing gas line has been moved deeper and preliminary work for future upgrade has been put in place. Final grading work for landscaping is getting done so that planting can happen early spring next year. All the old trees were removed in the beginning of site preparation and new ones will be planted as per city requirements. Currently retention wall is being built on the creek side and the fence work on it will be accomplished by next week. New sign for the center is also under process.
Two BMP (Best Management Practice) areas have been created and arrangements have been made for its maintenance and reporting to the Du page county for next three years. Vittala Brick project with benefactor names around the circular drive way is under preparation. In order to facilitate public participation and to be a part of the new Krishna temple, we started a very affordable program for the community called “Vittala Brick Program”. To participate in this once in a life time opportunity and to engrave your name on the bricks please visit www.iskconnaperville.org.

As promised, by Krishna’s Grace and with all your cooperation, we are able to finish the first phase of the site work within 5 month time period. We would like to thank you for your continuous support.
